The Hellenic Society of Ecopsychology is active in all the conferences of the International Society of Ecopsychology (IES) as a representative of IES in Greece and also as part of the board of directors.

In 2015 it has been organized the 5th International Ecopsychology Conference in Amari Rethymno, Crete, which ended up to be a pivotal point as due to numerous participations from all over the word European Ecopsychology Society (ΕES) was renamed to International Ecopsychology Society.

During the Presidency of the Hellenic Society of Ecopsychology, conferences were held in Uruguay and Spain. In Spain the presidency was taken over by the representation of the IES of Brazil, and in 2024 was nominated to Colombia
